When I called to make the appointment, I was told that since I only wanted one room cleaned, I had to pay double the online price in order for the technician to show up. I was a little worried when only one technician showed up as I have some heavy pieces in the room. Once there, the technician then informed me that I would have to pay a $5 gas fee -even though the website says they service everywhere from Chula Vista to Bonita with no hidden fees. So, to start off I was charged $80 vice $35 per room. Then he did not have long enough hoses to complete the job. I live in a standard condo complex, similiar to hundreds of complexes in San Diego. So, we had to use an alternative pad style cleaning method. The icing on the cake came when he did not move a single thing when cleaning the carpet -not even the empty suitcase in the bottom of the walk in closet. Isn't that like cleaning the kitchen counter without moving the toaster? Then he informed me that I had to specifically ask for a portable unit and pay more. I did pay more for the steam cleaning, but he didn't bring the hoses. So, I paid out my ear for a 1/2 butt job that consisted of a 3 foot wide strip around the bed and about 12 square feet in the middle of a walk in closet. It was also only supposed to take 1.5 hours to dry and it took almost 8 hours. The words bait and switch and rip off come to mind. |

We had a punch stain that we tried to treat with a bleach pen (not a good idea!). The bleach pen faded the stain (which was about the size of 4 adult male hands side by side) but also left a spot that was severely discolored from the rest of the carpet.
Kyle (I think that's his name) was very professional and personable from the very beginning and spot treated the stain and within an hour it looked like there was no stain at all to begin with.
Very profesisonal, detail oriented and excellent customer service. I would recommend Affordable Clean Carpet Care to anyone.

I have rental property and the tenants moving out assured me that the carpet had been cleaned -- however, it had not. I had new tenants moving in and needed the carpets cleaned within 24 hrs. I called Affordable and they were able to schedue me early the next day. The technician was very professional, the carpets looked great and everyone was happy. This company did a wonderful job. I had another company come in attempt to clean the carpet in my rental property but they didn't do a good job.
